United States Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel

The building displays 17 aluminum and steel spires that extend 150 feet into the sky, forming a series of repeating triangular shapes.

The chapel, designed by architect Walter Netsch and completed in 1962, received designation as a National Historic Landmark in 2004.

The structure houses separate worship spaces for Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, and Buddhist services, with different entrances for each faith section.

Visitors can access the chapel through guided tours, which explain the architectural elements and provide information about the different religious spaces.

The building contains 100 identical tetrahedrons, each measuring 75 feet in length and weighing five tons, assembled with colored glass between them.
