North Pole Colorado

North Pole Colorado is a Christmas theme park in El Paso County situated on mountainside grounds at roughly 7,500 feet elevation, offering more than twenty-five rides, Santa's house, gift shops, and holiday attractions. The layout spreads across hilly terrain with different areas designed to create a year-round Christmas experience.

The park was founded in 1956 by former Disney artist Arto Monaco, who designed special buildings to establish a permanent Christmas celebration environment. Monaco's vision created a place where holiday feelings were meant to last throughout the year.

The park brings together Christmas traditions including Santa meet-and-greets, elf performances, and a glass-blowing workshop where visitors can watch ornaments being made by hand. These activities shape how people experience and celebrate together here today.

The park operates from May through December, and you should purchase tickets online in advance, especially during winter holidays. Bring warm clothing as the elevation and weather conditions change with snow season.

A rare 1907 Wurlitzer military band organ found its home here after entertaining generations across different locations in the United States. This historic musical instrument shows the long journey it took traveling through America.
