Ball Arena, Indoor arena in Denver, United States
Ball Arena is a multipurpose hall in Denver, Colorado, used for basketball, ice hockey, and lacrosse. It stands in the city center next to railroad tracks and holds space for more than 17,000 spectators depending on the event.
The hall was built in the late 1990s and replaced an older sports facility in the neighborhood. It has been used continuously for professional team sports since its opening.
The hall takes its name from a beverage packaging company and features large video screens that span multiple levels. Visitors move through wide concourses with food stands and team merchandise, while the interior changes layout depending on the sport being played.
The building sits near the highway and is easy to reach by car. On game days, the surrounding parking lots fill up quickly, so it helps to arrive early.
The hall was one of the first of its size to eliminate single-use plastic entirely. All drink containers are made of aluminum or reusable material.
