Highland Bridge

Highland Bridge is a pedestrian footbridge in Denver that crosses Interstate 25 with a triple rib steel arch design. The structure links downtown to the Highland neighborhood and features two plazas connected by access paths from Central and Platte Streets.

The bridge was completed in 2006 and created a new link between downtown Denver and the Highland neighborhood. This project marked an important infrastructure milestone in connecting these two areas across the highway.

The National Velvet sculpture at the entrance ramp sparks conversations among visitors and residents about what it represents. It adds an artistic element to this crossing point that people use daily.
