Spokane Convention Center, Convention center in Spokane, United States.
The Spokane Convention Center extends along the south bank of the Spokane River, offering about 120,000 square feet of exhibition space across interconnected buildings. It contains 14 meeting rooms divisible into 30 spaces, three ballrooms, and modern audiovisual equipment for events.
The building was created in 1974 as a pavilion for Expo 74 and was later converted into a conference center. Major expansions followed in 1989, 2006, and 2015 to increase capacity.
The center serves as a meeting point for regional businesses and communities hosting trade shows, conferences, and local events. This role has made it the primary venue for large gatherings in the city.
The complex sits directly on the river and is easy to reach, with multiple entrances for different event types. Parking and access to rooms are well marked, so visitors can quickly find their destinations.
Multiple roof terraces and outdoor spaces provide additional event areas of about 27,600 square feet with direct river views. These open areas allow events to be held outside when weather permits and offer a relaxing retreat.
