The Spokane Civic Theatre operates two performance spaces: a 334-seat Main Stage and a 96-seat Studio Theatre for dramatic productions.
Founded in 1947, the theatre moved to its current location at 1020 North Howard Street in 1967 after operating in various downtown venues.
The theatre mounts over 180 performances each season, involving more than 400 volunteer contributors who serve approximately 30,000 audience members annually.
The theatre provides designated parking spaces in lot D directly north of the building, with additional parking available in Spokane Public Facilities District lots.
The Studio Theatre bears the name of Firth J. Chew, a long-serving board member who contributed significantly to the organization's development.
