Estádio da Várzea, Municipal stadium in Praia, Cape Verde
The Estádio da Várzea features a playing field of 109 meters in length and 68 meters in width, with seating areas on both sides.
Built in the mid-20th century as Campo do Coco, the stadium underwent major renovations in 1999 and received artificial turf installation in March 2007.
The stadium serves as home ground for six prominent football clubs of Cape Verde, including Sporting, CD Travadores, Académica, and Boavista FC.
Located on Avenida Cidade de Lisboa at 4 meters above sea level, the stadium accommodates 8,000 spectators for football matches and events.
The stadium structure incorporates eight modernized square columns with a stucco-peach exterior and features two flaw windows bordered by balconies.
