Dar Al Awadi Tower, Commercial tower in Kuwait City, Kuwait
Dar Al Awadi Tower is a 171-meter-tall office building in Kuwait City with 35 floors of workspace and a modern design featuring glass, granite, marble, and stainless steel. The structure includes an integrated shopping center with four above-ground levels plus one basement level, supported by a separate parking facility for approximately 650 vehicles.
The tower was completed in 2005 by Ahmadiah Contracting and Trading Company during a period of significant urban expansion in Kuwait City. Its construction represents a key moment when the city invested in modern office infrastructure to support its growing business sector.
The exterior combines glass, granite, marble, and stainless steel ribs, reflecting how modern commercial buildings in the Middle East express themselves through materials and form. These design choices have become typical for how the region presents its business districts.
The building houses both office space and retail options, making it convenient for different types of visits. The large parking facility makes arriving by car straightforward, though the area can become crowded during business hours.
A stainless steel dome crowns the building, combined with a circular saucer-shaped roof canopy. This distinctive topping makes it recognizable from many points around the city and helps it stand out in the skyline.
