Port Hercule Contre-Jetée de l’Avant Port Light

The Port Hercule Contre-Jetée de l'Avant Port Light stands 2 meters tall at the entrance of Port Hercules, emitting green flashes every fifteen seconds.

Constructed in 2006, this lighthouse marked a significant enhancement to Port Hercules' maritime infrastructure, which dates back to ancient Greek and Roman trading routes.

The lighthouse forms part of Monaco's maritime heritage, contributing to the principality's status as a Mediterranean nautical center alongside the Monte Carlo district.

With a range of 5 nautical miles, the lighthouse guides vessels safely into the harbor through its distinct three-flash pattern system.

The structure operates within one of the few deep-water ports along the French Riviera, adjacent to a semi-floating sea wall that uses patented water wall technology.
