Larvotto fountain, Modern fountain at Larvotto beach, Monaco
The Larvotto Fountain features multiple cascading bowls over masts extending into a pool measuring 17 meters long and 4 meters high along the promenade.
Created by sculptor Guy Lartigue in 1969 as Tribute to Princess Grace, the fountain underwent extensive restoration starting in June 2019 led by the artist's son.
The fountain represents a central element in Monaco's public art collection, managed by the New National Museum of Monaco through preservation initiatives.
The fountain stands near restaurants and beach facilities, accessible through Monaco's public transportation system or by walking from Larvotto district hotels.
The water feature incorporates a circular pool of 9.5 meters in diameter with specialized hydraulic systems controlling water jets and lighting effects.
