Chapelle Sainte Thérèse - Les Carmes

The Chapelle Sainte Thérèse features dimensions of 18.30 meters in length and 10.60 meters in width, integrating modern elements with neoclassical architecture at Boulevard d'Italie.

After the demolition of the original Carmelite church in 1998, architect Fabrice Notari designed this new chapel, which opened its doors in March 2002.

The chapel maintains strong connections to the Carmelite community, who established their presence in Monaco following their exile from Notre-Dame de Laghet in 1880.

The religious building accommodates 210 worshippers, including 40 seats in the mezzanine, with public elevators providing access from the surrounding residential area.

During the four-year construction period between 1998 and 2002, religious services continued in a temporary chapel to maintain community worship practices.
