Wildspitze

The Wildspitze reaches an elevation of 3,768 meters with twin peaks, including a rocky south summit and a snow-covered north summit.

Leander Klotz completed the first recorded climb to the summit in 1848, establishing the initial route for future mountaineers.

Climbers typically begin their ascent from the Breslauer Hut, requiring four hours to reach the summit through glacier-covered terrain.

Three major glaciers surround the mountain, with Taschachferner extending across 8 square kilometers on the northwestern face.
