Wiss Platte

The Wiss Platte summit reaches an elevation of 2,630 meters and features flat, karst-covered walls to the north and east, with steep, deeply furrowed walls to the west.

During the 19th century, local hunters from the northeast region likely performed the first ascents to the summit, though no official records document these early climbs.

The mountain stands between the Austrian municipality of Tschagguns in Montafon Valley and the Swiss town of St. Antönien, representing a natural border between both countries.

Climbers access the summit through the standard route from Tilisuna Hut, covering steep rocky terrain in approximately 90 minutes with a difficulty rating of UIAA grade I.

The western and southern walls contain climbing routes up to UIAA grade VI, while the transition from Scheienfluh requires moderate climbing skills at UIAA grade II.
