Supreme Court of Bangladesh

The Supreme Court of Bangladesh is the highest judicial authority in the country, divided into two main sections: the Appellate Division and the High Court Division. Both divisions work together to resolve constitutional matters and hear appeals from lower courts.

Judges remain in their positions until reaching 67 years of age, a rule that ensures both continuity and stability in judicial operations. This age threshold differs from practices in other countries and reflects Bangladesh's distinct approach to judicial planning.
