The Marie-Elisabeth Belpaire Building is a 102-meter-tall tower with 14 floors located within the World Trade Center complex in Brussels. It combines office spaces, coworking areas, residential units, and retail facilities in a mixed-use design.
The original structure opened in 1976 and later underwent major renovations that changed its design. Recent reconstruction work guided by architects Jaspers-Eyers and 51n4e has fundamentally transformed the site.
The building honors Marie-Elisabeth Belpaire, a 19th-century educator who founded Dutch-language schools and expanded schooling access for girls in Antwerp. The naming reflects her role in advancing educational opportunities across the region.
The building is located in the business district and accessible by public transport. Note that the site remains under development, so access to certain areas may be restricted during construction activities.
