Vasil Levski Museum, Lovech

The Vasil Levski Museum occupies a building designed in the architectural style of the Bulgarian National Revival period, featuring exhibits across two floors.

The museum, established in 1954, documents the life of Vasil Levski, who led revolutionary movements against Ottoman rule during the 19th century.

The collection includes 6000 historical artifacts, personal belongings of Vasil Levski, and documents from his fellow revolutionaries who fought for Bulgarian independence.

The museum opens from 9:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 17:00 in winter, while summer hours extend from 9:00 to 13:00 and 14:30 to 18:00.

The museum stands at the exact location where Vasil Levski organized revolutionary activities through the Lovech Private Revolutionary Committee.
