Lovech Zoo

Lovech Zoo is a zoo and urban park in Stratesh featuring numerous animal species arranged throughout different sections of the grounds. The facility combines animal habitats with wide walking paths and green spaces for strolling.

The zoo opened in 1964 and became one of the first wildlife protection centers in northern Bulgaria. Its creation marked the beginning of organized conservation efforts in the region.
