Dondukova Garden

Dondukova Garden is an urban park in Plovdiv featuring walking paths, green spaces, and seating areas distributed throughout its grounds. The space includes different zones designed for various outdoor activities.

The garden was established in 1878 and named after Alexandre Dondoukov-Korsakov, a Russian governor of the region. French landscape architect Lucien Chevallaz designed the layout according to modern planning principles of that era.

The garden serves as a gathering place where locals enjoy outdoor concerts and community events throughout the year. You will see people walking, sitting on benches, and meeting friends in different corners of the space.

The garden has multiple entrances around its perimeter, allowing access from different streets and near public transportation stops. The pathways are easy to navigate and benches are available throughout for resting.

Several art installations and sculptures are integrated into the landscape, creating an outdoor gallery that surprises visitors as they walk through. These works are scattered across the grounds rather than concentrated in one area.
