Светилище Гарванов камък

The Raven Stone Sanctuary is a site with several wind-shaped rocks that have carved steps and ritual beds arranged around a central stone altar. The rocks vary in size and show both natural erosion and deliberate human modification.

The sanctuary formed as part of a larger Thracian complex during the Late Iron Age. It served as both a religious center and a place for observing celestial events.

The stone formations contain geometric patterns linked to observations of the sun and moon. These shapes reflect how the Thracians understood the movements of celestial bodies.

Access to the sanctuary involves a roughly 30-minute walk on a sandy path from Starosel village. It helps to gather information about the route beforehand since directional signs are not available on site.

Archaeological investigations have uncovered numerous ceramic fragments around the stone structures. These findings suggest that rituals of religious significance took place at this location.
