Кабиленски манастир, Orthodox monastery near Kabile village, Bulgaria
The Kabile Monastery, dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, stands in farmland near the archaeological reserve of Kabile, 6 kilometers from Yambol.
During the 4th-5th centuries, the area contained a nunnery with a healing spring, frequented by followers of Emperor Constantine I and his mother Helena.
The monastery preserves Bulgarian Orthodox traditions with its stone walls, traditional roofs, and religious ceremonies conducted by the resident nuns.
Visitors can access accommodation facilities at the monastery complex, which includes gardens, walking paths, and spring water sources for spiritual purposes.
The monastery grounds contain a healing spring that, according to regional accounts, provided water specifically requested by Queen Helena during the Roman period.
