Saint-Lambert, Residential town in Greater Montreal, Canada
Saint-Lambert extends across 100 square kilometers on the south shore of the St Lawrence River, opposite to downtown Montreal in Quebec.
The settlement grew substantially after 1859 when the Victoria Bridge connected the area to Montreal, establishing it as a key railway stop.
The municipality maintains several educational institutions, including Champlain College and multiple schools under the Commission Scolaire Marie-Victorin system.
The town connects to Montreal through multiple transport options, including Autoroute 20, Route 132, Via Rail services, and Réseau de transport de Longueuil buses.
Saint-Lambert recorded one of the highest military participation rates in Canada during both World Wars, with 132 local soldiers lost in combat.
