Mount Seymour, Winter sports resort in North Vancouver, Canada

Mount Seymour is a 1,449 m mountain in Mount Seymour Provincial Park, District of North Vancouver, within the North Shore Mountains. Its main summit, also called Third Peak, rises above Indian Arm and Deep Cove. The ski area has four lifts, 40 marked trails, a 330 m vertical drop and four terrain parks.

The Wood family took over ski operations in the 1980s and transformed it into an established winter sports facility for the region. Since then, it has become a key recreation destination for Vancouver residents during the cold months.

The mountain draws families and local skiers who come here to enjoy winter sports together throughout the season. You can see people of all skill levels sharing the slopes, from children learning their first turns to more experienced riders.

The resort is easy to reach from Vancouver, with shuttle services from east of the city for visitors without a car. Check conditions before you go, as weather and snow levels can change quickly.

The mountain receives heavy snowfall from its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, which creates reliable winter conditions and long seasons. This makes it one of the most snow-sure spots in the region for winter sports.
