CN Sportplex, Recreational sports facility in Moncton, Canada.

CN Sportplex is a large recreational facility in Moncton with ten baseball fields, six soccer fields, and four indoor ice rinks distributed across the grounds. Spectator seating, bike racks, and extensive parking are available throughout the property.

The complex was built on the grounds of a former Canadian National Railway repair facility that closed in 1988. This transformation of industrial land into sports facilities marked a significant change in how the area was used.

The site's name comes from Canadian National, whose repair shops stood here until 1988; the brownfield was redeveloped by Canada Lands Company from 1997. The Superior Propane Centre is one of the four indoor rinks, and the air-supported Moncton Sports Dome hosts paintball, golf, soccer and football. In 2003 the Phoenix Award, International Category, went to Canada Lands Company.

The facility is easy to access with seasonal washroom availability and ample parking for visitors. Cyclists will find dedicated bike racks throughout the grounds.

The site was a Canadian National Railway repair yard until it closed in 1988, then sat vacant until Canada Lands Company began redeveloping it in 1997. The cleanup and reuse earned two 2002 Brownie Awards from the Canadian Urban Institute and the 2003 Phoenix Award, International Category, from the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Phoenix Award Foundation.
