The Thunder Bay Community Auditorium contains 1,511 seats, a 40-foot by 50-foot permanent stage, and a 70-foot by 39-foot proscenium opening.
The Community Auditorium opened its doors on October 16, 1985, becoming a principal venue for cultural events in Northwestern Ontario.
The Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra presents full seasons of Masterworks and Pops Programs, while international orchestras perform throughout the year.
The facility provides parking for 1,000 vehicles, eight dressing rooms, three meeting spaces, and accommodates up to 450 people for banquet events.
The auditorium features an adjustable concert ceiling canopy and acoustic draperies that modify sound properties for different performance requirements.
