100 King Street West

100 King Street West is a 26-story office tower in downtown Hamilton with a height of approximately 103 meters and a facade of alternating rows of steel and glass. The building contains ten modernized elevator banks divided between low-rise and high-rise sections, serving the office floors and underground parking areas.

The building was completed in 1972 as the Stelco Tower and served as headquarters for Canada's largest steel producer during Hamilton's industrial expansion. Its construction marked a significant moment in the city's role as a major steel manufacturing center.

The building shapes the downtown skyline with its distinctive steel and glass facade that defines the character of Hamilton's business district. Visitors notice the repetitive horizontal lines running across its height, giving the structure a clean and organized appearance.
