Hamilton City Hall, Town hall in Hamilton, Canada.
Hamilton City Hall features a modernist eight-story structure with Italian glass tile mosaics adorning its exterior walls at the intersection of Main Street West and Bay Street South.
The municipal building, completed in 1960 by architect Stanley Roscoe and the Pigott Construction Company, replaced the previous city hall on James Street North at a cost of 9.4 million dollars.
The building holds regular city council meetings and public gatherings, enabling citizens to participate in local government decisions and community initiatives throughout the year.
Located at 71 Main Street West, the administrative center provides municipal services and hosts public consultations where residents can access resources and engage with local officials.
The street number 71 was specifically selected to commemorate the exact number of years the previous city hall had served the community before the new building's construction.
