Bernina railway line

The Bernina railway line connects Saint Moritz in Switzerland to Tirano in Italy through 13 tunnels and 52 viaducts across the Swiss Alps.

The railway construction began in 1903 and opened in segments between 1908 and 1910, becoming a crucial transportation link between Switzerland and Italy.
