Nina Tower

Nina Tower is a skyscraper in Tsuen Wan consisting of two connected structures reaching 320 meters high with 80 floors throughout. The complex integrates office space, a major hotel, and retail areas into a single commercial development.

Construction of the tower took place between 2000 and 2006, marking a period of intense commercial expansion in Hong Kong's New Territories. This project was part of a larger wave of development that reshaped the Tsuen Wan area.

The tower bears the name of Nina Wang, a businesswoman whose family has left its mark on Hong Kong's commercial landscape. The naming reflects how local business figures are honored through major architectural landmarks in the city.

The building is well connected to public transportation, especially through the nearby Tsuen Wan West station, making access straightforward. Within the complex, visitors find various services and retail stores that combine shopping and business functions in one location.

The original plan proposed a height of 518 meters, but flight restrictions near Chek Lap Kok Airport forced designers to reduce the final height substantially. This adjustment shows how aviation regulations can shape the architecture of an entire city.
