Indi Home, Residential skyscraper in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong
Indi Home is a 56-storey, 212-metre single-tower private residential building at 138 Yeung Uk Road in Tsuen Wan, completed in 2005 and designed by Wong Tung & Partners. It holds 950 flats above a two-level retail base, the roughly 50,000 sq ft Lok Yau Circle mall with a food court. A sky garden on the 45th floor looks over the Rambler Channel and Ting Kau Bridge.
The building was completed in 2005 by Chinese Estates Group through its subsidiary Kwong Sang Hong Limited. This construction came during a period of intensive high-rise development in Tsuen Wan to accommodate the growing population.
The building exemplifies the Hong Kong approach to vertical living, with 950 residential apartments addressing the needs of the dense urban population.
Indi Home is a private residential tower at 138 Yeung Uk Road; flats and the clubhouse on the upper floors are not open to visitors. What can be visited is the two-level Indi Circle mall at its base, about 50,000 sq ft with a food court, and the covered footbridge network linking it to Tsuen Wan West station and Citywalk 2.
The tower stands within the Tsuen Wan South constituency, where district council representative Antonio Luk Ling-chung maintains local governance.
