Guishan Guanyin of the Thousand Hands and Eyes

Guishan Guanyin is a colossal bronze statue located at Miyin Temple in Changsha, depicting the Buddhist goddess with multiple arms and eyes. The figure stands on a lotus flower base and displays traditional Buddhist patterns throughout its bronze structure with carefully crafted details.

The statue was conceived in the early 2000s with support from local government and organizations, reaching completion in 2009. This project was part of a broader initiative to establish Buddhist monuments in the region.

The statue depicts the Buddhist goddess Guanyin with numerous arms and eyes, revered locally as a symbol of compassion and the ability to aid those in need. Visitors can see this religious meaning reflected in how the figure is positioned and detailed.
