Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Museum and park in Chengdu, China.
The museum complex includes a garden with bamboo groves, bridges over streams, and traditional Chinese architectural elements spread across 24 acres.
Built in 759 during the Tang Dynasty, this residence belonged to poet Du Fu who created 247 poems during his four-year stay in Chengdu.
The Poetry History Hall displays a collection of Du Fu's 1,400 poems, ancient manuscripts, and translations in 15 different languages.
The museum maintains regular hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and features guided tours through its memorial halls and garden pathways.
The site contains the Memorial Temple with a central statue carved by Liu Kaiqu and displays thousands of historical artifacts from the Song to Qing dynasties.
