Sham Shui Po Park, Public park in Sham Shui Po District, Hong Kong.
Sham Shui Po Park spreads across two separate areas divided by Lai Chi Kok Road, offering open green spaces, play areas for children, and fitness stations for visitors. The facilities in each section serve different recreational needs throughout the year.
The park was established in 1984 on land that previously housed British Army families. This transformation changed the area into a public green space for community use.
The park holds memorial trees and plaques honoring people who died during the Japanese occupation, serving as a quiet place where the community remembers this period.
The park is accessible through several MTR stations including Cheung Sha Wan, Sham Shui Po, and Nam Cheong, all within walking distance. Visitors can move easily between the sections since public transport stops are positioned conveniently nearby.
One section features an inclusive play area with one of the longest slides managed by the city, stretching more than 13 meters. This extended slide has become a notable attraction that draws families to the park regularly.
