Tombs near Dongqian Lake

The archaeological complex contains multiple tomb structures scattered around the perimeter of Dongqian Lake, revealing architectural styles from different periods of Chinese history.

These burial grounds, dating back to the Southern Song Dynasty, earned recognition as a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level in China.

Excavations at the tomb site have uncovered numerous bronze artifacts and pottery items that demonstrate the sophisticated craftsmanship of ancient Ningbo societies.

Visitors can access the tomb sites through designated pathways that connect to the main areas of Dongqian Lake, with guided tours available throughout the year.

The collection includes more than 200 stone carvings from the Southern Song Dynasty period, representing one of the largest concentrations of period sculptures in the region.
