Ningbo Library

Ningbo Library is a public library featuring five floors connected by a central open design that allows light and sight lines to flow throughout the building. The ground level houses a large public space with reading areas, a children's section, and work zones all bathed in natural light.

Originally founded in 1927, the institution served as a major repository for the region's rare ancient texts before moving to its current modern building in 2019. The relocation allowed the collection to expand and the facility to serve visitors in a contemporary setting.
