Diaoshuilou Waterfall, Waterfall in Mudanjiang, China.

The Diaoshuilou Waterfall is located along the Mudan River at the northern edge of Lake Jingpo, measuring about 40 meters across with a vertical drop of about 12 meters. Water flows continuously over the rock ledge, creating a striking visual presence in the surrounding landscape.

Since its formation, the waterfall has experienced changes in water volume due to upstream hydroelectric development in Heilongjiang Province. These shifts have shaped how the site appears and functions over time.

Local performers regularly demonstrate cliff diving from the waterfall edge, a tradition that has become part of the site's identity over time. These demonstrations are a daily occurrence that draws crowds to the location.

The site is accessible year-round, with the strongest water flow during summer months. In winter, water can transform into ice formations that completely change the waterfall's appearance.

A natural spring continues to flow from the horseshoe-shaped wall of the waterfall even when the main cascade diminishes to minimal levels. This steady water source sustains the site throughout drier periods.
