Xuexiang National Forest Park covers a large wooded area in northeastern China with dense forests, rivers, and mountain ranges. The terrain features hiking trails and natural landscapes that change with the seasons.
The park was founded in 1948 and received AAAA classification from China National Tourism Administration in 2010. This recognition established it as a major destination in northeastern China.

The park is most active from October through April when snow covers the ground and winter activities are available. Plan to dress warmly and expect cold conditions during these months.
The China Snow Town section gained wide recognition after appearing in the 2013 television show Where Are We Going, Dad? This television exposure brought many visitors to the area.
