Cicheng Confucian Temple

Cicheng Confucian Temple is a historical sanctuary in Zhejiang with multiple courtyards, symmetrically arranged buildings, and a main hall for ceremonies. The complex connects different functional spaces including ancestral halls and pavilions through linked pathways.

The complex was relocated to its current location in 1048 during the Northern Song Dynasty and grew into a center of scholarly culture. Many of the structures visible today date from the late Qing period, showing how the site was renewed and maintained across centuries.
