Cheung Fat Plaza, Shopping mall in Tsing Yi, Hong Kong.

Cheung Fat Plaza is a five-storey shopping centre of about 28,300 sq m in northern Tsing Yi, with a basement car park and shops from level one to five. A footbridge to Cheung On Estate, Ching Yat House, Cheung Fat Estate and Ching Tai Court meets the building between the second and third floors, so users climb stairs or escalators to reach it. The second-floor atrium hosts events and temporary stalls.

Cheung Fat Plaza opened in 1989 as the Cheung Fat Shopping Centre, one of the Hong Kong Housing Authority's estate malls serving Cheung Fat Estate in northern Tsing Yi. Link REIT began asset upgrades in 2007; by July 2010 the refurbishment was complete and the complex was renamed a plaza. A partial renovation followed in 2018.

The name comes from Cheung Fat Estate, the public housing estate the mall serves. On the second-floor atrium, events and temporary stalls are held. The first floor's central pool was filled in during the 2008 renovation and replaced by a Baleno store; the exit to Ching Yat House became a KFC in 2018.

Cheung Fat Plaza has two entrances on the first floor, one facing the Cheung On Bus Terminus and one toward Hen Faat House of Cheung Fat Estate, with a passage linking the market and the car park. The footbridge to Cheung On Estate, Ching Yat House, Cheung Fat Estate and Ching Tai Court sits midway between the second and third floors, so a staircase or escalator is needed from either level.

Before Link REIT took over, unlicensed cooked-food hawkers gathered between Cheung On Bus Terminus and the plaza entrance; at its peak 30 to 40 stalls traded at night, a scale among the largest in Hong Kong. Link REIT opened the 24-hour "Tsing Yi Food City" there in December 2008, some of whose staff had been hawkers, but it closed on 15 September 2017 and the refurbished space was renamed Cheung Fat Canteen.
