Tsing Yi Public Library is located on the first floor of the Municipal Services Building at 38 Tsing Luk Street on Tsing Yi Island and provides reading and study areas for different age groups. The library opened in 1986 at Cheung Hong Estate and relocated to the Municipal Services Building in 2000 to serve the expanding population on the island. This move allowed the facility to reach more people in the growing community.
