Villa Esplanada is a residential housing estate comprising ten tall blocks spread along the waterfront of Tsing Yi Island, containing nearly 2,800 homes in total. The buildings occupy what was once an industrial oil storage area, now transformed into a contemporary living community.
Development of this housing estate began in 1998 and completed by 2001, transforming what had been an industrial oil storage facility. The conversion of the former industrial site marked a significant shift in land use for this part of Tsing Yi Island.
