Macau Security Forces Museum, Military museum in Jardim de San Francisco, Macau.

The Macau Security Forces Museum occupies a single exhibition hall inside the lobby of the Macau Security Forces Affairs Bureau building on Rua dos Quartéis. Four cannons stand at the hall's entrance, and the displays hold guns, uniforms, communication gear and riot equipment used by the Portuguese military and Macau police, plus models of the bureau building and the Portas do Cerco border checkpoint.

The museum opened in 1984 as the Museu Militar inside the command building of the Macau Security Forces, after the Portuguese army withdrew from Macau following the Carnation Revolution. The barracks had served since 1976 as the administrative centre of the militarised security forces. It was renamed the Macau Security Forces Museum on 16 November 2004.

The museum keeps the silver band instruments of the Macau Police Band and models of the Security Forces Affairs Bureau building at the Barracks and of the Barrier Gate border checkpoint. Photos of the Barracks Battery tie the collection to the Portuguese military presence that ended after the Carnation Revolution.

The museum occupies the lobby of the Macau Security Forces Affairs Bureau building on Calçada dos Quartéis, next to Jardim de San Francisco. It has a single exhibition hall, so a visit takes little time; the entrance area with the four cannons is the first thing you pass.

Four cannons, not two, stand at the entrance of the single exhibition hall. Inside, among the guns and uniforms, is the spent CS tear gas shell thrown by security forces during a riot operation on 2 July 2000.
