Felix Villas, Grade III historic residential building in Southern District, Hong Kong.

Felix Villas is a three-story residential building with eight units, characterized by classical revival design elements including bay windows with rounded corners, chimneys, and terraced spaces. The structure shows a blend of British architectural traditions adapted to local living patterns.

The building was constructed in 1922 and initially belonged to British merchant Felix Alexander Joseph. It transitioned to the University of Hong Kong in 1957, becoming staff housing.

The residence gained recognition when singer Hinson Cheung lived there and recorded music within its walls. His presence added a creative layer to how people understand the building's role in Hong Kong's cultural life.

The location benefits from good public transport connections in the Southern District area. As an active residential building, access to the interior is restricted, but the exterior architecture can be viewed from the street.

Despite its classical architecture, the building was immortalized in modern pop music culture when a well-known local artist recorded an album there. This connection bridges the Victorian heritage of the place with contemporary Hong Kong's music scene.
