The High Court Building is a 20-storey white-clad tower at 38 Queensway in Admiralty, completed in 1985 as the Supreme Court. It holds 46 courtrooms as of 2020, with plans for six more civil courtrooms on the site of the High Court Library. A water fountain stands outside the front entrance.

The building was established as a principal judicial institution in Hong Kong and has handled civil and criminal cases throughout its history. It became fundamental to developing Hong Kong's independent legal system based on common law traditions.

The road leading to the main entrance still bears the name Supreme Court, although the building was renamed the High Court Building in 1997 after the Handover. Its forecourt and water fountain appear often in Hong Kong legal and crime films and television shows, including The Prosecutor (2024), A Guilty Conscience (2023), The Sparring Partner (2022) and Legal Mavericks (2017), since filming inside courtrooms is not permitted.

The building stands at 38 Queensway in Admiralty, with its main entrance on the road still named Supreme Court Road. Filming inside courtrooms is not permitted, but the forecourt and water fountain outside the front door are visible from the street. As of 2020 the building holds 46 courtrooms, with six more civil courtrooms planned on the site of the High Court Library.

The building's forecourt and fountain appear in Hong Kong legal dramas and crime films, including The Prosecutor (2024), A Guilty Conscience (2023), The Sparring Partner (2022) and Legal Mavericks (2017), even though filming inside courtrooms is not allowed.
