Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture Museum, Regional museum in Xiaguan Dali City, China.
The Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture Museum features twelve exhibition halls spread across 8,800 square meters of construction area in traditional Bai architectural style.
Founded in 1986 as the first prefecture museum in Yunnan Province, the institution preserves artifacts from the Nanzhao Kingdom period dating back to 738 CE.
The museum displays over 7,000 items including bronze drums, traditional clothing, tools, and artwork that represent the heritage of the Bai ethnic group.
Located at 8 Erhe South Road, the museum opens daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM except Mondays and offers free admission to all visitors.
The collection includes rare bronze and serial bells from the Warring States period and earthenware artifacts spanning from Western Han to Jin Dynasty.
