Propsteikirche St. Nikolaus, Catholic church in Vorstadt, Kiel, Germany.
The three-aisled brick building follows a basilica layout with a polygonal apse and features abstract stained glass windows throughout its structure.
Built in 1890 as the first Catholic church in Kiel since the Reformation, the structure underwent reconstruction in the 1950s after World War II damage.
The church contains a medieval altarpiece from 1515 depicting figures of the Virgin Mary, Saint Barbara, and Saint Margaret within its simple interior design.
The church office provides information and assistance through Pastorin Maren Schmidt and Pastorin Dr. Charlotte Hartwig during regular business hours.
The bell tower houses Kiel's largest steel bell ensemble, cast in 1950, which rings in the melody pattern of the Ideal Quartet.
