G’sengte Sau, Steel roller coaster at Erlebnispark Tripsdrill in Cleebronn, Germany
G'sengte Sau is a steel roller coaster at Erlebnispark Tripsdrill near Cleebronn featuring a chain lift reaching 16 meters and approximately 480 meters of track. The route includes multiple hairpin turns and a helix section that create the ride's main thrills.
The coaster was manufactured by Gerstlauer in 1998, marking the company's inaugural roller coaster project. Steel components came from Maurer Rides GmbH as part of this pioneering collaboration.
The name G'sengte Sau references local butchering traditions and the practice of singeing a pig's skin before processing. Visitors encounter this playful reference to regional craftsmanship that remains woven into the ride's identity.
The ride operates with seven cars, each seating four riders in two rows arranged for comfort and visibility. Multiple brake sections throughout the course help manage speed and ensure safe operation.
At the opening event, an inline skater completed the entire track while carrying a full liter of beer on specially designed skates. This unusual feat drew international media attention.
