Karacho, Steel roller coaster in Erlebnispark Tripsdrill, Germany.
Karacho is a steel roller coaster in Erlebnispark Tripsdrill that takes riders through four inversions along a track of roughly 700 meters. The structure is supported by more than 100 steel pillars and features several elements including a heartline roll and a dive loop.
The roller coaster opened in 2013 and marked a major expansion of Erlebnispark Tripsdrill in the Baden-Württemberg region. Its construction required moving substantial amounts of earth and building a steel structure that rises about 30 meters high.
The name reflects German expressions of speed, while the attraction strengthens Tripsdrill's position as a leading entertainment destination in Baden-Württemberg.
Visitors must be at least 125 centimeters tall to ride, and the journey lasts about one minute. The best time to visit is often in the late afternoon or on quieter weekdays when lines tend to be shorter.
Unlike traditional roller coasters, this ride uses linear synchronous motors to accelerate passengers from zero to top speed in less than two seconds. This system allows for an immediate launch without the typical lift hill phase.
