Cyriakuskirche

Cyriakuskirche sits on a gentle hill in the old town and combines architectural elements from different periods. The tower dates from 1280, while the three-nave interior was built in 1351 and later redesigned in the Gothic style.

The church was first mentioned in records around 1100 and evolved from Romanesque to Gothic architectural style. The most significant transformations took place during the 14th and 15th centuries.

The wooden altar carvings from around 1490 tell religious stories through detailed sculptural work. Visitors can see how craftspeople of that era expressed faith through their craft.
