Volldampf

Volldampf is a steel roller coaster at Erlebnispark Tripsdrill, featuring a train designed to resemble a steam locomotive. The ride operates with a single train consisting of ten cars that carry riders through the park's landscape.

The roller coaster was manufactured by Vekoma and opened to the public in 2020. It arrived at the park alongside another new attraction called Hals-über-Kopf.

The name references a regional folksong about the Swabian railway and connects to local train heritage. The trains resemble old steam locomotives, creating a visual link to the area's past.

The ride is suitable for children from about 95 centimeters tall and offers a relatively short, family-friendly experience. Visitors should know the coaster operates with limited train capacity, so waits can build during peak times.

The last car of the train features a decorative goat clinging to the back, a humorous touch that many visitors overlook on their first ride. This whimsical detail adds character to the locomotive-styled train.
