Fernmeldeturm Brackenheim 1

The Fernmeldeturm Brackenheim 1 is a concrete communications tower in Cleebronn that serves radio and telecommunications purposes. The structure features a slender shaft with technical platforms at different heights to accommodate transmitters and antenna equipment.

Deutsche Bundespost commissioned this concrete structure in 1969, designed by renowned engineers to serve broadcasting needs. Military operations later took over the facility and shaped its use for several decades.

The tower became a protected monument in 2004, marking its importance in the development of German telecommunications infrastructure.
